This garden is situated on the cliff top in the Eastern Suburbs and is home to some very extreme coastal conditions. The Brief was to remove some extremely dense and overgrown bamboo and create something architectural and low maintenance.

The planting palate consists of some low lying succulents which are highlighted by the contrasting 'flap jacks' both of which are thriving in the conditions. We have also included some Pandorea vine to climb the steel mesh and create privacy.

We created a protected area which is home to an incredible Staghorn sourced from Interstate, a wonderful sculptural centre piece

Designed by Landscape Architecture firm 'Material' the structure comprises of magnificent hard wood posts weighing over 200kg each. Complete with a floating bench seat it blends perfectly with the dramatic backdrop of ocean views and cliff tops.
